TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as it governs the relationship between us and you and limits our liability to you when you purchase products from us. By accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing to the terms and conditions that appear below. References to “you” and “your” are to you as an individual. References to “us”, “our” and “we” are to Purple Beech Designs.
All prices on the website are in GBP (£) and include VAT at the current rate.
SALE OF PRODUCTS
Upon placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email via a Paypal notification. This confirmation is not an acceptance of the order nor is it a confirmation of our offer to sell. An order is deemed to be an offer by the customer to purchase items on our website and and is subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept an order for any reason. Payment of any order is required before it is despatched. Once an order has been accepted by us, paid for by you and despatched the contract between us is deemed to be concluded.
Payment can be made by PayPal or credit card via our paypal shopping basket process, by BACS, by card payment over the phone and by personal cheque. Cheques must clear before we will ship the good sold to you.
You must ensure that your personal details, including the address for delivery, are complete and accurate.
We reserve the right to alter or withdraw products given on this website at any time. We shall endeavour that all orders are met. We do not, however, guarantee the availability of any product at any time. We shall make every effort to update the website at all times.
POSTAGE AND SHIPPING
Postage and packaging is added to your order at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
Postage costs are clearly displayed before finalising your order. Your order will be delivered to the delivery address entered on your order. We use Royal Mail first class delivery UK orders up to £100 and Royal Mail Recorded Delivery for orders over £100. UK postage is charged at £2.50 per order on orders under £40. Orders over £40 are sent free of charge.
If you have any problems making your payment, please email to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you .
All packages are sent via First Class or Standard Parcel Post for UK orders. We aim to dispatch all orders promptly upon receipt of cleared payment - if there are delays we will endeavour to notify you by email. Once items are dispatched, UK orders usually arrive within 2-5 days.
Insured and Next Day Delivery: If you would like to opt for either of these services, please let us know in an email and we will confirm extra postage costs to you.
CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE UK
Our automatic paypal system is set up to calculate postage for UK orders only, however if we receive payment via paypal, we can calculate your additional postage costs and send a paypal invoice to cover post & packaging. Alternatively, please email or telephone us and we will email a paypal invoice to you for the total cost of your order.
Please note that all prices are shown in GBP (Great British Pounds.
Shipping charges are calculated based on order weight and destination.
European orders are charged at £5.50 per order. They are sent by Royal Mail International Signed For post and will require a signature on receipt.
We aim to ship within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Where this is not possible due to volume of orders, or other reasons, we will advise you by email and offer options. Once items are dispatched overseas orders are usually delivered within 5 -10 days.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY
In the event that any order is incorrect, the customer must notify us within 7 (seven) days after delivery. We abide by the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR). If we made a mistake or if the product is faulty or damaged, the product shall be returned to us at our cost (first class or first class recorded). Please obtain a free proof of posting from the Post Office and please ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. We will send a replacement at our own cost.
If you wish to return an item for any other reason (unwanted, not as you thought, changed your mind), please put this in writing to us indicating, if possible, the invoice number. In this circumstance, the customer agrees to pay for the postage to return the goods to us as per the DSR. This cost shall not be refunded. When returning the items, please obtain a free proof of posting from the Post Office and please ensure that the good are packaged adequately to protect against damage. Please ensure correct postage is paid - we will not pay the fee to obtain a package returned without correct postage. If a refund is due, the refund will be processed within 30 days following return of the goods.
If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This policy does not affect your legal rights, for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
ABOUT THE BEADS
Please note that
- the glass beads are hand-made and depending on batch, there can be variation in size and size of the holes.
- the ceramic beads are also hand-made and there can be a variation in size. Metallic coated ceramic beads contain nickel to create a smoother coating on the ceramic beads. The manufacturer has confirmed the nickel content is within the EU regulations.
IMPORT TAXES AND DUTY
The buyer is liable for all duty, tax and other import charges as may arise on international purchases.
