Greek Handmade Ceramic Beads - Glazed or Metallic Coated

These beads are kiln-fired terracotta beads.  They are handmade in Greece.  You’ll find a selection of unusual shapes to complement your jewellery.  Most of the beads have a hole size which is big enough to fit through the greek leather we sell.

Matte beads are a coloured terracotta, with the metallic matte having an additional sparkle sheen.
Glazed beads are finished with a slip enamel coating which is either plain or iridescent, then fired for a third and final time. 
Metal coated beads are created using a process which coats beads in one of four metals: Silver, Gold, Bronze or Copper

We have over 30 different colours of greek ceramic beads as you can see from the colour chart below, including classic, raku (crackle glaze) and iridescent beads (giving an ‘oil-slick’ kind of sheen on the beads).  In addition, we have Coated Metallic Beads in Silver, Gold, Bronze or Copper.There are some variations in size in these beads, as they are all handmade.
